Q: Can you cut around an item once laminated or will this negate the lamination effect? I want to laminate a photo and cut around the edges rather than leaving it in a 4x6 rectangle.

Like many others, I purchased these to preserve my baby’s precious ultrasound photos! I watched a quick YouTube video tutorial which helped so much with using this! All of them turned out great except for one which sucks but it was my fault anyways. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to open it and try to straighten out the ultrasound photo that ended up being creased because I didn’t want to damage it. Baby’s photo is still visible and clear. I was able to fit 2 ultrasounds in one laminating sheet. For the bigger ultrasound photos, I did have to cut them down which worked out fine and did not have to crop out any good parts of the photo. I like how the product is sturdy and thick. I can prop the photos up which is impossible to do with the flimsy ultrasound printer paper by itself.
