Q: Does this register have a scanner that beeps when you tap or place a play grocery item on it???
A: Hello and thank you for your question! Our Teaching Cash Register does not include a scanner, although it does have a scale for weighing pretend food.

Q: What product safety controls do you have in place? Are the plastic pieces BPA free and are your toys tested for lead content? I was not able to find a statement online pertaining to product safety?
A: Hi Cindy, All our toys pass rigorous independent safety tests before we release them into the market. All our products are non-toxic, phthalate-compliant, lead-compliant, BPA compliant, proposition 65 compliant, no mercury and comply with U. S. safety laws. Q: Is it possible to turn the sound off?
