Description
The A La Mode Snap Gear 5-in-1 High Chair in Java transforms as your child grows. Use it as an Infant High Chair, Traditional Full-Size High Chair, Infant Booster Seat, Toddler Booster Seat and a Secure Infant Car Seat Stand that allows for smaller infants to stay in their car seat. The high chair, in a sophisticated heather brown material, features a multi-position height adjustment and adjustable, removable footrest that work together to ensure a comfortable seat at the dinner table. The lockable wheels allow you to easily move it or keep it in place while the multi-position tray adjusts with the touch of your hand. Compatible with any Snap Tech or Snap Gear infant car seats. The Snap Gear modular system allows you interchange other Snap Gear products for the maximum functionality and convenience. Removable seat pad can be cleaned with mild soap and wipe with damp cloth.

Q: Can we change the wheels? The current wheels don't turn well or roll on our floors easily, lots of sticking to the grout and turning while moving causing it to skid/lock up.

Q: Ddo the legs of the chair adjust to different height levels? if so, at what measurements do they lock? Could the chair fit up to the table while in the infant setting on the full high chair stand without the tray.

Q: i see the response saying "the chair is 43 inch height". what is that measuring? the top of the backrest? i'm trying to figure out how high up the tray table is.

It's fine. It gets the job done, but very inconveniently. It's difficult to dismantle to clean, doesn't stand on it own when folded, tray hooks are TERRIBLE. If baby wiggles too much one side let's loose and they'll be sitting crooked, wheels lock up when you try to move and scratch floors. Just all around not great, but since I can't return it I make do.

Loved the ability to recline and change heights. The cloth isnt cloth at all and its SO EASY to clean up. The table is easy to slide on but is not like all the other high chairs so can be confusing to some.

I literally hate this high chair. I dread using it. The tray is impossible to put on and take off and the chair slides up and down way too easily. I’m selling this and switching to the $50 cosco highchair I had for my daughter. It was easy to use and never gave me any problems.

We loved this high chair; didn't run into any issues with the seat or tray thankfully. Most important to me was how easy it is to clean, with 2 under 2 I don't want to spend an eternity to clean something I'm going to use multiple times a day. Having somewhere to store the tray also great. Lastly, the chair growing with my kid means I don't have to spend on different chairs. My only complaint would be that I wish the chair was sturdier when folded.

I was about to not purchase this chair because of the reviews regarding the tray and the safety on the height adjustment. Please try something for yourself even if the reviews are negative, can be a win or lose but at least you tried. We LOVE this high chair, the tray is not difficult to take off or put on, I’ve tried other high chairs with removable tray and they are the same, pricier for sure too. Clean up is a breeze and my baby loves his chair.

Way too expensive for the quality. Tray is extremely hard to get on/off. The entire seat is wobbly and feels so cheap.

Horrible design- the tray is awful to try to get on with a writhing toddler. Thank goodness this was half price when I bought it. Difficult to move up and down in a hurry, and the two part tray… oh my! The 15 month old figured out how to detach the top part super fast- and yep, the food went flying. The only good thing was the price but I’m returning this. Doesn’t seem to have been designed by anyone who is a parent of a toddler still. Oh hey, it wipes clean easily though- I’ll give it an extra star for that.

Overall, this is just a flimsy high chair. The tray is a PAIN to get on and off, impossible to do with one hand, and it’s very easy for little fingers to get pinched. I’ve had this high chair for a few months now and I regularly get annoyed with how poorly it works. It’s easy to wipe the seat clean but that’s about the only positive.

The seat falls with the lights touch if it is not at the highest setting possible. Really scary, thankfully I found this out before placing my 6 month old in the seat

99% sure it was a return because i found like 4 long red hairs on the tray and in the locks. Whoever returned it left most of it already assembled so that was nice. A gross but nice surprise. Anyways, high chair is nice, it is bulky but we don’t have people over so who cares

I would not recommend this high chair! My 7month old is always leaning on the side in it, the straps seem so loose than what it originally is! And she’s always hurting her feet on the tray from kicking out of excitement over food 🥲. The wheels are horrible!! And definitely takes up so much room !! I honestly don’t like this! Definitely switching to another brand!
